Rodney Savoy and Robert Gagnard have been
focused on creating concepts based on value, service and exceptional food.
Given their passion for food and hospitality, the Double R Restaurant Group was
established in 2011. Double R's goal is to create a portfolio made up of
concepts that represent value, with a focus on fresh and comforting food. In
2006, Rodney and Robert purchased the neighborhood friendly Italian restaurant,
The name was changed, which gave birth to Romacelli Bistro
e Vino. Romacelli offers fresh Italian/Mediterranean cuisines,
conservatively priced and served in a comfortable yet upscale atmosphere.
Romacelli is committed to using only the freshest ingredients to prepare
cuisine that is incredibly tasty, yet affordable and is served in a relaxed,
comfortable and family-friendly setting. Romacelli's growth plan is to locate future locations in neighborhood developments created by the partners.
After many trips to the beaches of Destin, FL, Rodney's interest
was drawn to the breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, Another Broken
Egg Café. Double R owns and operates locations in much of the Southeast including Louisiana, the Carolinas, Georgia, Texas, Florida and Tennessee. The success of the Another Broken Egg can be directly linked to the philosophy
that "Nothing Short of Right is Right”.
belief is from the time a customer enters the front door, to the time they
leave the Café, they should feel like being "on holiday” and as
comfortable as being in their own home. The attention to details from a welcoming entrance to high quality food and engaged Front of the House and kitchen staff are just as important as great, hospitable service. With that in mind, it is our never ending goal to
earn guests for life.
The latest addition to the Double R family of restaurants is POUR Restaurant and Bar. Offering an array of chef driven seasonal cuisine, POUR combines a diverse menu of New American fare with a wide selection of handmade, specialty cocktails to make the perfect casual spot to grab lunch on the go or have a family-friendly, relaxing dinner. Plans are also in the works to develop POUR throughout the state of Louisiana.
