Another Broken Egg Café Hatches it’s Second Location in Baton Rouge with Events to Raise Money for Three Local Nonprofits
Baton Rouge, LA, (April 9, 2014) - Double R Restaurant Group is pleased to announce the
grand opening of their second Another Broken Egg Café (ABEC) location in Baton Rouge on
Monday, April 21st at 9655 Perkins Road. Patrons interested in a sneak preview and wishing to
support three very worthy local causes can dine prior to the official grand opening date. There is
no charge for the public to attend the three separate fundraising events, and donations can be
made via cash, check or credit card and will be accepted for the featured nonprofits. Patrons must
call the Perkins location at 225-757-5793 to make a reservation, as seating will be limited.

Thursday, April 17, 2014 will benefit The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge's
Community School for the Arts www.acgbe.com with seating available from 9 AM to 1 PM
Friday, April 18, 2014 will benefit Capital Area United Way

Saturday, April 19, 2014 will benefit The American Cancer Society
www.cancer.org with seating available from 9 AM to 1 PM

Guests dining at the Perkins location will have the same tempting Another Broken Egg Café
dishes to choose from as the Citiplace location. The menu features 90 different choices including
six varieties of Eggs Benedict, 11 different omelettes, an exceptional signature Bananas Foster
over Belgian waffles, French toast or buttermilk pancakes, along with unique burgers and fresh
salads. Menu prices range on average from $8 to $15 and for breakfast cocktails, don’t miss the
Mimosa, Bellini, house-infused Bloody Mary or Absolute Fuzzy Navel priced at $5.99 each.
Furthermore, ABEC’s Healthy Side menu, which includes Granola, Fruit & Quinoa, Gluten Free
Friendly Jumbo Pancakes, The Skinny Omelette, Steel Cut Oats and Simply Salmon, will also be
available at this second Baton Rouge location.
