Enjoy unique dishes at Another Broken Egg
Breakfast and lunch are served here, and it’s a challenge to make a decision. If you want eggs, there are omelettes, Benedicts and scrambled skillets. Other options include French toast, waffles and pancakes. For lunch, choose one of several salads, burgers or sandwiches. Go for the less traditional: How about a lobster and brie omelette, sweet potato pancakes or waffle sliders?
The cafe is in Jupiter’s Harbourside, offering inside and outside casual dining. Choose outside, sit at one of the umbrella tables and soak up the ambience.
OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE
To start, we ordered the “monster” cinnamon roll ($3.99) from the apps menu, because how could we not? It was big, it was warm, and it was topped with a cream cheese icing that melted down the sides. The size was perfect for sharing — and sharing means you don’t ruin your appetite for what’s coming. I ordered the Hey Lucy!!! Omelette ($11.49) stuffed with avocado, breakfast chorizo, onions, green chilis and cheddar-jack cheese. Sour cream and salsa were served on the side. The dish was bursting with flavor. My friend decided she wanted lunch and had the King Edward Club ($10.49). At our server’s suggestion, she chose multi-grain bread, and she said it enhanced the flavor of the sandwich, which included ham, turkey, bacon, cheese, avocado, lettuce and tomato.
REASON TO GO
Sit outside, people watch and enjoy a unique twist on breakfast or lunch.
Excellent. Even though we closed up the place, our waitress never forgot us and came by often.
Fairly quiet, as we arrived after the peak morning crowd had left.
Take the little ones. They’ll find a menu just for them, and who can resist pancakes with M&Ms, or a Little Elvis waffle with peanut butter, jelly and sliced bananas?
