A shared passion for food and hospitality by owners Rodney Savoy and Robert Gagnard resulted in the creation of Double R Restaurant Group, LLC in 2011. Double R seeks to create a portfolio of restaurant concepts that represent value with a focus on fresh and comforting food. It is the mission of Double R to create a positive and collaborative work environment for our team members while delivering exceptional dining experiences to each guest who walks through our doors.
Robert and Rodney’s entrance into the hospitality industry began in 2006 with the purchase of Café Roma, a neighborhood-friendly Italian restaurant in Lafayette, La. The name was later changed to Romacelli Bistro e Vino, which serves fresh, Italian cuisine with a Cajun flair. Since 2006, two more Romacelli’s have opened in the Lafayette area, and future growth plans are to expand throughout Louisiana.
After many trips to the beaches of Destin, FL, Rodney’s interest was drawn to the breakfast, brunch, and lunch concept of Another Broken Egg Café. The first purchase of an Another Broken Egg franchise in Baton Rouge, LA towards the end of 2011 was the event that established Double R as a company. Double R currently operates Another Broken Egg locations in much of the Southeast, including Louisiana, the Carolinas, Georgia, Texas, Florida, and Tennessee.
The last member of Double R Restaurant Group is POUR Restaurant and Bar in Lafayette, LA. Offering an array of chef-driven seasonal cuisine, POUR combines a diverse menu of New American fare with a wide selection of handcrafted, specialty cocktails to create the ideal casual spot to grab lunch on-the-go or have a family friendly, relaxing dinner. Double R plans to expand Pour throughout Louisiana.

My restaurant experience began during high school and continued through college as a server and a bartender. I have always felt a calling to the business of hospitality. Growing up in South Alabama, it was very much a part of our culture! I was fortunate to have had both of my Grandmothers teach me the importance of making others feel right at home and that delicious food enhances any gathering. I learned to treat people like family and that hospitality starts at home.
My career with Double R began in November of 2012 as a General Manager. The quality of life offered by the hours of operation was a big motivator for me! Being home for dinner each night with my husband and three children was a welcome change from the years of late nights. I have held the position of General Manager in 6 different locations of Another Broken Egg Café, completed 4 new Café openings, worked in support to more than a dozen locations in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina and now hold the position of Territory Manager over our North Carolina and South Carolina locations. I am very proud to work for Double R! The leadership in this organization inspires me daily; there isn’t a better team to work with!!

Mike GravesTerritory Manager | Atlanta
I have been in the hospitality business my entire life. I started working in my father’s restaurant when I was ten years old, learning at an early age that I was passionate for food, beverage and the business itself. I continued in the restaurant industry throughout high school and college; in fall of 2012, one of my mentors gave me an opportunity to help open Another Broken Egg Cafe in the Atlanta area. I assisted with the opening of our Alpharetta cafe, then moved on to open our Vinings location as the General Manager. I was given the offer to serve as an area support manager and am now serving as the Territory Manager of the Atlanta market. As TM, I oversee and assist in the operation for our ABE locations in Atlanta, focused on the growth and development of our brand and people.
Working for Double R has been a challenging and rewarding experience. Having the evenings to spend with family has improved my quality of life, which is extremely hard to find in the restaurant business. I am blessed to work with an amazing team of operators, that strive to give every guest a first class dining experience, everyday. I am passionate about driving my team to give great results.
Michelle LoganTerritory Manager | SW Florida
My hospitality career started early. I have been in the industry for most of my adult life and find it to be both exciting and rewarding. The fact that I was given the opportunity to start my career with Double R Restaurant Group as a General Manager of our first Another Broken Egg Cafe South Florida location, on the island of Siesta Key Beach, has been a life changing experience. I have been fortunate to work with a great team in Siesta Key, and that commitment from that team has allowed me to grow to my current role. That team continues to be committed to excellent operations and building the brand. As we continued to grow our team and consistently deliver results in Siesta Key, we became a Certified Training Store. I am privileged to have trained and built relationships with many of our managers through the training program. With the growth of Double R, I was recognized for my hard work and dedication, becoming a District Manager and, most recently, a Territory Manager of West Florida.
I originally sought to work at Another Broken Egg Cafe for the quality of life and found much more with Double R. The hours of operation for ABE allow me to be with my son every night for dinner and bedtime. I have found a true work/life balance and, for that, I am forever grateful! My passion for Double R extends to our commitment to exceptional service, quality food and the growth of our people. Mary Deas DunnTerritory Manager | Texas
I was fortunate to start working for the Double R Restaurant Group in 2011 when we opened our first Another Broken Egg Café in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I began as a server and bartender, and realized after my first week that I wanted to grow with this company. With my passion for Double R, I quickly rose through the ranks: becoming the General Manager of our flagship store in Baton Rouge, a Support Manager, then Territory Manager of the Baton Rouge market. My next adventure with Double R Restaurant Group is in Texas where we have a strong growth plan to open Another Broken Egg Cafés in Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin.
Since, I was 16 years old, I knew I wanted a career in the restaurant industry. I am so happy that I get to work in hospitality; I get the chance to impact another person’s day through great food, amazing guest experience, and our extreme attention to details. After close to 20 years with another restaurant group, rising through the ranks of hourly and management positions, I decided it was a time for a change. When I began talking with Double R Restaurant Group, I saw an opportunity to join a young company that believes wholeheartedly in their people. Working in Double R for a year, my initial impression was true: we take care of our people. While Double R is a profit driven company, we believe that in taking care of our people our people will take care of us.
As Territory Manager of Louisiana, I oversee multiple concepts within Double R: Another Broken Egg Café, Romacelli Bistro e Vino, and Pour. It is incredibly rewarding to empower our people to effectively operate their restaurants, encouraging them to deliver superior service and food every day. I support my team with proper training and development, and a focus of always putting our people—both customer or employee—first.
There is no better feeling in the world then knowing you have made someone’s day a little better. I believe that if we truly care about our guests, making them and our people the most important thing, we will always succeed. My name is Andrea LaCour and as the Marketing Coordinator and Guest Experience Leader I have the privilege of developing and communicating all marketing efforts while instilling a fun and relaxed culture that is rooted in guest centered service and true appreciation of the talents of every team member. Being a southern gal myself whose best memories have always involved great food and company, I am constantly inspired by the lasting impact that a delicious meal coupled with genuine hospitality can have on our guest’s lives. This passion to truly connect and make memorable moments pushes me to discover ways that we can continue to go above and beyond for all who work for us and visit our Cafes!

My journey with Double R Restaurant Group began somewhat unceremoniously. At a friend’s wedding, a long time investor in another restaurant concept mentioned he was looking for someone to help launch a new franchise. I was extremely interested in the opportunity, and so my path with Another Broken Egg began. Hired as a General Manager, I quickly found a love for both ABE and Double R. My career path has allowed me to become Territory Manager of North Carolina, then Director of Training/New Store Openings. I recently transitioned to Director of People across each of our concepts.
While I have always loved the restaurant industry, it is in my new job that I have truly found my passion. I am privileged to work directly with our people: developing our managers and hourly team; interacting with our future internal and external management candidates; and building the foundational systems for our future growth. Our people are among the best in the business, striving to be better today than yesterday, and are truly my motivation every day.
Bryan FitzsimmonsDirector of Operations | Another Broken Egg Cafe
Starting in the restaurant industry from my teens, I have worked almost every position--from a busser to manager and manager to managing partner, my experience has led me to a rewarding career in hospitality. Originally inspired by the culinary side of the business, I continued to develop a passion for the industry by leading and supporting teams with a strong focus on hospitality.
After 20 years and working in several successful concepts, I found myself taking a position with Double R Restaurant Group as the Territory Manager for East Coast Florida where I opened Another Broken Egg Café in Boca Raton. From there I transitioned to the Georgia/Tennessee territory, opening several restaurants while successfully growing sales and profits.
In the spring of 2016, I transitioned to Director of Operations for Double R Restaurant Group’s Another Broken Egg division. The position has allowed me to share my passion and knowledge with outstanding individuals within the Double R organization. I currently oversee all operational and financial results, with an emphasis on accountability and respect. My management style aligns with the Double R culture where people and results come first.
Dana BabinChief Financial Officer
One day a few years ago, I became acquainted with the President of Double R Restaurant Group through a mutual friend. At the time, I was working in a bank as a Financial Reporting Manager; I was very intrigued with the restaurant industry and the financial leadership needed by a young company. The genuine way in which Stuart spoke of his team compelled me to take a leap of faith and I joined on; I am so glad that I did. Food and customer service is way more exciting than interest rates!
I am responsible for all aspects of accounting, budgeting, cash management, and financial analysis for our many restaurant locations. My team works tirelessly to ensure payables, payroll, and financial statements are delivered accurately and in a timely fashion. The best part of my day is hearing stories about how we made a customer’s day; the stories give each dollar a name.
I have had the privilege of being involved with Double R from its inception in 2010. As President of Double R, I have the honor to work side by side with some of the most interesting and passionate people I have ever come across in my career. At Double R, our people are our most coveted assets and truly define what our culture is all about. We manage our day to day business by focusing on the development of our people and empowering them to do what is right for their staff and ultimately the customer.
My duties include management of all operational and financial functions between our three brands: Another Broken Egg Café, Romacelli Bistro e Vino and POUR Restaurant and Bar. I am most passionate about being able to work for a company that puts its employees first. I am inspired by the hard work and dedication of each and every one of our employees who serve our customers daily. I enjoy seeing members of our team develop professionally and move up in the ranks and become integral part of our organization. At the end of the day, we are only as good as our people.
Mike GuidrozChief Operating Officer | RR Company
Michael Guidroz joined the RR Company team in 2013 as the Chief Operating Officer. He has an extensive financial background with past positions at Iberia Bank, Whitney Bank and Business First Bank.
Robert Gagnard is a Founding Partner in RR Company, River Ranch Development, Sugar Mill Pond and Southern Lifestyle Development. His background is in medical technology and business management. Robert was responsible for developing and operating over 125 blood plasma collection centers throughout the United States, through several companies. After several company sales, retired from active participation in plasma center businesses in 2010. He is now actively involved in creativity of developments, marketing and high level management. Robert seeks new opportunities for RR Company and its affiliates.
Rodney SavoyManaging Partner
Rodney is Managing Partner of RR Company of America, LLC, a diverse holding company that has majority ownership interests in real estate development, commercial and multi-family residential rental real estate, property management, a restaurant development company, and other various smaller business investments. He was a practicing CPA for 25 years primarily focused in business management and consulting. Rodney retired from active practice in 1996 to pursue real estate developments and other business interests including development of blood plasma collection companies with locations across the United States. After multiple sales of various plasma companies, he retired from the plasma business in 2010. He then ventured into the restaurant business - first, with City Club at River Ranch (private health/tennis/restaurant) in 2002, followed by the establishment of Double R Restaurant Group and the opening of their first concept, Romacelli, in 2007 (now operating in three locations). Double R is currently the largest franchisee of Another Broken Egg Cafe, a southern-inspired breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, with 32 Cafes operating in Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee and Florida. Most recently, the restaurant group acquired their newest concept, POUR Restaurant & Bar, that currently has 1 location in Louisiana. Rodney is the Financial Managing Member of Southern Lifestyle Development.
